Long-lasting, fades well
This was the first perfume I ever bought for myself. The fragrance is delicately floral without being overpowering, and is not too girly, so it would suit teenagers as well as women. If you understand how colours smell, this one is pale yellow - the colour of crysanthemums.
It lasts a long time, and fades into something slightly heavier which is still pleasant.
I would recommend this to anyone as a day-wear or a summer perfume; it isn`t really strong enough for the evenings. I wear it daily, and it has become my signature scent. My husband loves it too, and asks me to wear it if I forget.

Smells divine
This perfume has a lovely flowery scent to it. Made to turn heads as the scent wafts from your body making this a mantrap. Their nostrils twitch and their gaze follows you as you pass by. The sound mmm is expelled from their lips as their blood pressure starts to rise. Well I have had only had this reaction from one man and you will be sure to guess who that is. I will give you a clue his name starts with N.
I am happy to say this perfume is suitable for both day and night wear, as the scent is not overpowering or sickly. I have never tried to describe a smell before and when I ask my partner if he likes a new scent the reaction is either Yuck or Cor give us a kiss love.
Imagine a bouquet of Honeysuckle, Freesias, Jasmine and peaches mixed together and you may have an idea of how this smells. It also has a subtle waft of spices mixed in and it seems very well blended to produce the perfect fragrance. Don’t think this is anything like your old ladies perfumes that smell strongly of Lily of the valley or Roses. I may be an old lady but I certainly don’t want to smell like one at all.
The perfume seems to suit both young and old skin alike and my daughters and granddaughters are always having a squirt of it when they visit. This is often so my bottle does not last long at all. I like to put a good amount on in the morning as the smell soon settles down. The scent does last all day and I did the sniff the wrist test today just to see how long it lasted. 8.00am Very strong. Noon nice and pleasant. 4pm Still smells lovely without sniffing hard. 8.00pm the scent is fading now but I can still smell if I have a good sniff. I am talking about my perfume if you have come to read this half way through not cocaine. Actually I am not sure if you sniff that at all. I will stick to sniffing perfume and flowers I think. When I retire to bed I can still smell the perfume on my discarded clothes.
This is a very expensive perfume but I really like it. I normally have a 100mls bottle and I think the cost is £54.00. You can get it from most of the better classed shops which have fragrance counters like Denners. I shall look forward to Christmas as I always get a bottle.
For those waiting for a recipe instead watch out for my christmas goodies.

You`ll feel like a million dollars…
I first smelt Christian Dior`s Dolce Vita on a patient, whilst dental nursing. And altough I would not normally ask patients such questions, it was SO beautiful, I HAD to ask!! I had mentioned it in my lunch hour to the other nurse and receptionist, but thought nothing of it. But then to my delight, on my birthday several months later, I received the 50ml bottle of Dolce Vita (EDT) as a present from all the staff in the practice. I was chuffed, as I was not expecting much! It soon became one of my top three!!
Christian Dior created Dolce Vita in 1995. It is the result of the following top fragrance notes: Lily, Magnolia and Rose. The middle notes are: Apricot, Peach and Cinnamon and the base of the fragrance is Sandlewood, Amber and Vanilla. (Dolce Vita is recommended for evening use.)
Not to be confused with Christian Dior`s Eau De Dolce Vita, which is entirely a different perfume. (That was not launched until 1998.)
The round glass glass bottle, is fashioned with multiple facets. (Looks a bit like a bubble, with lots of little buubles all over it!) And is decorated with a ridged/ringed golden collar for that elegant Dior touch!! On the front, in small gold lettering is Christian Dior.
This then comes in a bright yellow box, so it`s hard to miss!! (Not as special as the bottle!)
I love wearing this perfume, as I know that the smell will stay with me for ages!! And, oh, what a smell!! It is beautiful, and people you don`t know, really do stop and ask you what it is! (That`s how I found it!) It makes me feel `all grown up` if you know what I mean? I suppose, it`s quite a mature sexy frangrance, that smells good on all ages of women. It`s floral and fruity, yet spicy at the same time.
Dolce Vita. A fragrance that radiates happiness and `joie de vie`, yet remains sophisticated, soft and sensual. It symbolizes eternal femininity.
